Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa

I was looking for a beachfront hotel for a romantic evening with my boyfriend, and I can honestly say this hotel did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly — the valet parking, the receptionist — everyone was welcoming. Everything was very clean, and the live music created such a relaxing atmosphere. I had a wonderful time, and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful. On top of that, the room was spotless and well-equipped. Thank you so much for making our stay so special!

Hands down wonderful experience!!! EVERYONE is unbelievably kind , friendly and helpful, from the time I called to confirm our reservation, to the amazingly friendly and helpful valet + bellhop, the front desk , the bartenders in piano bar. The hotel is clean , complimentary bottle of wine, we had a wonderful time and much needed relaxation, would highly recommend! We stayed in a king room with balcony , harbor view, it was beautiful. We will be back!

This is definitely one of the nicer places to stay in the area, but what makes the experience are the wonderful staff. Everyone was so pleasant and attentive. The manager even went out of his way to make sure our young daughter was treated well and got a surprise for the room. The restaurants were both very good and accommodating for families. My favorite part was the sea otters you can commonly see from the deck! Will definitely stay again.
