It’s quite unique to find such a British style hotel in Sapporo Hokkaido Japan, walking distance to Sapporo station. The garden is the main reason I booked two nights at the hotel. It is so beautiful especially in the daylight. The decorations of the hotel are truly beautiful. I also like the lift in fact. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Very conveniently located and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. European-styled decor in rooms, the overhead display at lifts and the pavilion at the covered garden give a strong sense of vintage. Rooms and their carpet are a bit dated, unfortunately. It’ll be nicer to equip rooms with more power sockets or even mobile USB outlets/ devices for power recharging of international travellers.
The hotel is rather Rustic and many of the facilities is alright and clean. The mini cooler is just that, so do not bring your ice-cream or ice up. Buy your own bottled water as none is provided. You can purchase your own visual entertainment for the television and if you want English program, it's easier to bring your own. Easy excess up the hotel from the side entrance and walking distance to eateries and shopping areas.
