Great location. Rooms could be cleaner & needs updating The carpet in the room was not clean. No safe if the room. Did not inform us the card machine was not working and could only pay cash. Was not informed that the hotel was closed on sundays. Could not leave luggage at the reception due to this even though they mention they have 24/7 reception service.
The hotel from the outside is really beautiful and historical. The inside could also be classified as historical actually!! it is divided into 2 buildings, one renovated and one still old. My room was in the old part and really it was terrible, beds very old, AC not working, wc takes many times to flush... Dinner and breakfast were fine that's why it gets 2 stars.
Worst hotel ever. Dirty ! Air conditioning not working ! Furniture in a state of decay !!! Horribly furnished (not renovated since probably the seventies). No wifi except in the lobby. In what world is this a 4 star hotel ? Not worth it. On check in the receptionist was on the phone, did not stop her conversation to check us in. We have to sleep in a over hot room, depressing and the dog cannot sleep. Rip off. Do not recommend. Will file official complaint with booking.com
