Montigo Resorts Nongsa

My family was happy to stay here for 2nights. Staffs are nicely, special Mr Erwin, who is the house keeping manager. He is really helpful to us. Coz we have a 3 yrs old baby with us. He knows what we need. The view is okay from our room. Private swimming pool is convenient for families. We will come again definitely.

We stayed in a beachside 2 bedroom villa. It was spacious but some furniture looked old. The renovation is not particularly luxurious but functional. The hotel tried quite hard at pest control so there wasn't too much issue except our first evening by our private pool. Service was very good but we had to request a lot of things, from shaver to water. Breakfast was quite fresh with many booths to prepare fresh for customers such as fried kway teow, prata, eggs, noodles etc. Their menu also rotates daily. Souvenir store has ridiculous prices. Public pool is nice. You have to call buggy very often since it's large and hot to walk around outside. The worst part was location. You have to dine inside the resort. No supermarket nearby, no tourist attractions. Very few choices of restaurants too. Well, you get this for resorts so no choice.

This is my second stay at Montigo Resort Nongsa. I came in June 2025 with family and had such a good time that I came back with my wife again just three weeks later. My first stay was in room 1806 and I'm writing this now from 2002, both deluxe one bedroom villas. Overall, this is a good place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the private pool is nice, the staff are very friendly and speak English. The food is good and the resort itself is clean. They're conscientious enough to provide regular fogging for mosquitoes and each room even has insecticide and mosquito repellant. My complaints are mostly with the large number of lizards. In both stays, we've had to deal with lizards. The insecticide provided did not help with them. In some cases, when the staff was here, they were more than helpful to help get rid of the lizard, but there were usually more hiding around the place. The bathroom as well has plenty of small shower flies that should be enough to get rid of with shower drain traps and so on. At least for my wife, this was very distressing so I hope management can look into this.
