We absolutely loved our stay at La Montrose Hotel! The room was surprisingly spacious—much bigger than we expected—and felt super comfortable, almost like having our own little apartment. There was everything we needed: a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, even a small kitchen space, and the bathroom was huge with double sinks, which made getting ready so much easier. The rooftop pool was small but really charming, and the view from up there was just beautiful—especially at sunset. Some nights we did hear a bit of noise, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our stay at all. The only thing we missed was having a proper wardrobe; there wasn’t much space to hang clothes, but we made it work. We felt completely at home and enjoyed every moment. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
great time, awesome experience overall. the pool and bar are great. the bar is a bit pricey and there's extra fees I think, but the drinks are definitely good. really great location and a solid price too. very quiet area and still easy to get places. service was immaculate from everyone, every single interaction.
The hotel is in a great location, however the rooms are extremely noisy. There was a constant internal noise we couldn’t identify that would go off every 20 seconds. Also, our upstairs neighbors were very very noisy. The ceiling/floor is old and creaky so it was very hard to sleep. When we requested a room change after the first night, the woman at the front desk was very dismissive. As a business, you should at least try to understand your guests’ complaints to try to help. Nope. She didn’t care and didn’t even seem to believe us. It was very strange. The second night we were woken up at 6 am by the guests upstairs so we called the front desk and asked them to let them know they were being loud. Shortly after, it got better but it was too late. Two horrible nights of sleep. One of them could have been avoided if the front desk took our complaints seriously and were proactive about helping us, whether that be changing our room or speaking with the guests sooner. But that’s why it’s a 3 star hotel in my opinion. Good location, clean, but don’t expect nice people or service. When we requested an extra hour to check out they did say yes. But the lack of sleep for two nights and their dismissiveness out weighed that for us.
