Moon Forest

I stayed in a ground floor unit and it was absolutely gorgeous. The amenities of the pool on the roof and on the ground level were also beautiful. Did you bring Tylenol? Did you take one for men the day after your birthday? Is that the one that’s out of the movie movies My only drawback is that there is a lot of construction going on in the area which can be a little bit noisy.

I want to start by highlighting the fact that Angel was a very attentive host. He answered and tried to fix every issue we had upon our arrival. The complex itself is very nice, the aesthetic of the unit is nice, well maintained, great amenities and common areas. The second pool on the rooftop is a saver. Since the pool on the main floor gets shade mostly all day, no sunlight. Now, I originally had a 8 night stay, yet, we only stayed 2 nights. The reasons: - NO WIFI! (NOT IN THE UNIT NOR IN ANY AREA OF THE COMPLEX) *Alan provided a portable one, but never really worked. - First night we had no hot water and the pressure of the shower had no power. -No phone service, not even with a local-Mexican cellphone line (We had to help a neighbor from the building who didn’t know Spanish and was basically stranded, trying to get a taxi, she also didn’t have wifi or phone service). - There’s no one at the reception area (staff). Any inconvenience, you have to either contact your host directly or figure something on your own. - Construction in ALL surrounding areas. (So we experienced loud construction noises very early morning) - There’s also big houses for rent on the area (PARTY houses). The two nights that I stayed, there were parties and the music was loud till 6 am (didn’t sleep at all). - The road is in incredible bad conditions. There’s so much trash from the construction, potholes that are big and deep. - Little to no kitchen supplies. They have few pans, utensils and plates. Like I said, the aesthetic of the unit itself is very Tulum and seems new, but in my personal opinion, I don’t believe the complex is ready for operating. I hope they fix the main issue for other future guests, which is 1. The WIFI and 2. Hot water. NOTE. I couldn’t get a proper refund, even with all the inconveniences, I had evidence to proof all the points mentioned above!!!!

There is no phone service or wifi in this building. Party and music noise all night construction noise in the morning. Avoid at all costs
