My family shared a fantastic 5 nights with at the Kunama Townhouses in early January. We have 2 kids and shared the townhouse with another family of 3. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms over 2 levels, there was ample space for us all! The townhouse was immaculately presented, spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. Whilst we were there in the summer, there were certain features of the house that are clearly designed for a comfortable stay after a day skiing in the winter, such as garage access to the house, mudroom/laundry entry, efficient heating/cooling and conscious use of materials and layout. The location was perfect - very quiet, stunning views of the lake from the large and private balcony and an easy drive in to Jindabyne or onwards to the snowy mountains. There's a lot to see and do all year around near Jindabyne and we look forward to coming back again soon!
Very spacious, clean and modern set of town houses built with a Scandinavian/Nordic feel about them internally. Easily accommodates up to six people but we were only two so we had plenty of room. All conveniences are there; dryer, washer, mwave, dehumidifier in laundry, ironing board etc.. and quality amenities in a crisp and elegant looking bathroom. The garage can accommodate an Abrams Tank if you feel inclined. Speaking of inclines, the one to the garage entrance is a doozy. Low profile sports cars need not apply. Park on the street. Lovely view of Lake Jindy (Hey I feel like a local staying here) from the comfortable and plush sofas in the lounge area. The beds are very comfortable. Very good internet access provided courtesy of Starlink. The download speed seems to be capped around 15Mbps which is ample for most guests unless you are running a bitcoin mining operation from Jindabyne. The townhouse is a solid build and really quiet. You'd think the floors are concrete, but to my surprise they are made from 5 layers of laminated pine as are many parts of the building. This gives it a cosiness and warmth that only timber can provide. One small complaint, the flat screen TV is just too small for the wall and distance from the couch and the lights on the kitchen feel like you are under interrogation (needs a dimmer). Ok, I agree I am being pedantic. Ultimately it is a fantastic residence to stay at for couples to families and your odd bitcoin miner.
This townhouse was fantastic for our stay in Snowy Mountains. We were about 30 mins from thredbo & perisher, & about 15 mins from shops etc. this townhouse had high attention to detail! There was a dehumidifier in the mudroom/laundry. We had carpet in all bedrooms. AC heating in every room, so everyone could cater to their temp preference. Upstairs kitchen & lounge area was stunning, with high ceilings. We were very warm, whether we had heating or ethanol fireplace on. Water pressure in the showers was great. The view was wonderful of the lake. You can see most of it, & it’s quite peaceful out on the balcony. If we were to nitpick some cons, it would be the induction cooktop was tricky to work out. You had to put it on the highest setting to cook, & you must use the pans & pots they provide. We would still book this place again.
