We enjoyed our two night stay in this hotel. The location is superb next the Neptune’s staircase and with views of Ben Nevis. We found all the members of staff very helpful and the service was good. We enjoyed our meals in the hotel which were well proportioned and well cooked. The best part was a quiet drink in this beautiful location after a busy and full day.
This is categorised as 4 star, I would only say 2 star no a.c and damp in bathroom. Very long walk to our room up and down stairs think due to add ons over the years I only seen 1 staff member once. Bed was comfy even though it was 2 beds together. I was disappointed with the place so much so that we didn't even go to the restaurant, we went out to eat at a place near by. I am not 1 to give negative feed back as a rule but as I said 4 star definitely not. Great location but definitely not worth the £165 quid a night oh plus the £22 dog fee.
Hotel was excellent. Let down by poor food. Quality was OK if not a limited menu. My wife's sea bass, you needed a hacksaw to cut it. Not good. But as a holiday hotel it was fine. Maybe pass on the restaurant
