Morcavallo Hotel & Wellness

Nice enough hotel. Shame about the mold in the shower and limescale around the taps. We had a double seaview room with nice balcony. However the balcony door lock was broken so we were unable to make our room secure. We did tell the receptionist. They said they would fix it. We stayed 3 nights. No fix and no offer of another room. By and large a pleasant hotel. Not really a 4 star. Fairly expensive for what it is. However the location is really good. We would stay there again

Nice view on the beach. When we stayed in the hotel, it was very early in the season so the room was cheap. Swimmingpool was not ready, but the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good, wifi splendid and perfect privat parking for the car.

Absolutely terrible Hotel. Do not book here. This Hotel is NOT as seen in the pictures. Here is a list of things we experienced : 1. Only one person on staff in the entire Hotel 2. No help available for bags 3. All lights were off at the reception and front desk 4. Terrible welcome from the one old man that was there. He looked confused and offered very poor communication (and I speak perfect Italian) 5. Old man looked confused and didn't look like an employee 6. Excessive smell of moisture and mildew in the lobby 7. Restaurant near the lobby had all the chairs on the tables, the banquet area was covered with tarps. It literally looked closed. 8. Furniture looked like run down early 1990's design 9. Hallway at the room level wasn't lit. Lighting turned on after we walked half way down the hallway. 10. Rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes. (BOTH ROOMS) 11. The bed covers had multiple cigarette burns on them. 12. The TV was the size of my iPad. 13. The queen bed was NOT a real queen bed, but rather two small single beds stuck together. 14. Smell smell smell. Can't say that enough. 15. Elevator kept opening the wrong doors when we went downstairs. Forcing us to have to walk through the kitchen area. Honestly the worst experience I've ever had checking into a Hotel. I've traveled the world many times, and stayed in all types of places. This one takes first prize in pathetic experience and service.
