We arrived later than the reception’s closing time, but the receptionist kindly waited for us. He was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but tasty and sufficient. It was also great to have a parking spot available for our car. The only downside was that one of the neighbors played very loud music late at night, we had to knock on the wall to get them to stop, which they eventually did. Big thanks to the lovely receptionist who took care of us!
I haven't stayed in the rooms, but I love their hotel gym — you should definitely check it out on their website. More Than has a great location near the Petržalka Railway Station, yet it's a very calm and quiet place. There are plenty of nearby bus stops that connect you to all parts of Bratislava. The hotel also offers private parking for guests. If you’re only visiting the gym and not staying at the hotel, you can find nearby parking spots using the URBI app. It allows parking from 7 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, and all weekend long — from 7 AM on Friday to 6 PM on Sunday. Note: URBI is expected to be replaced by the PASS app sometime in 2025 or 2026, and parking fees for non-residents will likely be introduced (around €1 per hour). Enjoy the free parking while it lasts!
I feel bad giving 3 stars because they technically did nothing wrong. The staff was very friendly and the gym looked excellent (though, we didn't use it). But I would not stay here if you're elderly, disabled, or pregnant. The bathtub is super high up and it was scary getting out of it for fear of slipping. There's also no door on the bathtub and you have to hold the shower head up -- so one of your hands is always occupied as you stand at a strange angle (to not splash water on the floor). So it always felt very precarious. The tub also faces a full length mirror, so you shower looking directly at yourself..... The bed also isn't comfortable and it's very low. The pillows are those large square ones that flatten to the volume of a finger and offer zero support. I laid on top of the comforter to provide some softness to the mattress and was still uncomfortable. The curtains cover the entire window but are super thin. So lights from the street came in and the sun always woke me up early. However, I didn't hear street traffic much, despite the location. The AC worked well at least. Breakfast is from 7-9 and only cold breakfast -- so that was disappointing and a surprise. The elevator stopped working when we went to checkout, so my husband had to carry two suitcases down (since I'm pregnant). Not the hotel's fault, but they share a building with an apartment complex, so who knows how often this happens or takes to be fixed. This hotel clearly started as a gym and then they purchased 4 apartments upstairs and remodeled them into 8 hotel rooms in total. So their specialty isn't being a hotelier. We thought we were getting a deal but we got what we paid for. We wish we'd spent just a tiny bit more for a hotel that was probably better quality and also already in the city center.
