Excellent hotel, the best of my trip to Hokkaido. I only wish to have spent more time there! It's about a 15min walk from JR Obihiro, that is the only downside. The rooms are large with modern style. The hotel feels very warm and cozy. The Japanese breakfast set was good, the service in the restaurant was outstanding. The outdoor onsen was quite pleasant, the vegetable matter in the water did add something unique to the experience. I would love to return here on a future trip.
The resort was amazing. The room with the private sauna and firepit was amazing. I had a great time using the sauna and the firepit. My only regret is not staying more days
2024.10 The service is atrocious. When I arrived, I wondered if I was at a hotel or I had arrived at the manor of a wealthy man as an uninvited guest. As others have said, you feel degraded as a guest. For a late checkout, the fee is 4620 JPY per guest. Absurd. I’ve stayed at over 500 hotels in Japan and I’ve never encountered such a fee for late checkout. It’s always 1000 JPY , occasionally higher. But the highest I’ve encountered is at 20% of the room rate you paid. Besides the service, the overall facilities were slightly old but in a good condition. The entrance hall is beautiful.
