Spent 1 night at the Mornington Hotel. The room was cosy and very clean. There was small boxes of milk and complimentary water bottles in the fridge which was a bonus. The bathrooms seemed to be recently renovated and was very spacious. We also dined at the bistro which was nice! Also got a 10% discount as we stayed at the hotel. Will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future!
Had some lunch here yesterday. Menu is how I like it enough to chose from but not pages and pages. The food that was provided was really good. Solid old fashioned pub food good Size great taste the silver side and mash and the Nachos were the fav's. Parking was good but the hotel was not full at that stage.
Under cooked steak to the point it was blue, sat at my table for a solid 10 min trying to get waiters attention asked for a new steak at which point management came out to argue it was temping at med rare ( how) they the. Sent the same steak back out cooked to death, ended with having my money literally thrown at me on my table, once a great pub obviously gone. Kids meals less than half the size as last time we went as well
