Morrison Clark Historic Inn

I recently stayed at the Morrison-Clark Historic Inn during a solo trip to Washington, DC, and it was an exceptional experience. My room was cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The location is ideal—within walking distance to major attractions and public transportation, yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful atmosphere. I usually stay near DuPont Circle, but this hotel popped up when I made my airline reservation. What a great recommendation! This will be my go-to hotel moving forward. My room is exceptionally clean and surprisingly quiet. Being an older building, the walls are thicker so you don’t hear other guests. The staff have exceeded my expectations by not only honoring my requests, but anticipating my needs. My favorite aspect is the central courtyard. It’s a welcome respite after a day of schlepping around the city. I love all the cute little nooks in this hotel. Updates to the room carpeting and furniture are probably needed, but the service, location, and charm of the hotel make it easy to overlook a few cosmetic issues.

Just returned from a three night stay. The Morrison-Clark Inn was awesome. The room was very comfortable and the building was beautiful. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Jesus The bartender was the best. He was friendly and offered a lot of advice on site seeing. The location wasn't terrible... just two blocks from a Metro train station.
