The service at Morvee Hotel is excellent, and the staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms are large, well appointed, and want for nothing. The food is plentiful with a decent variety and tasty,particularly breakfast. [The central AC of the hotel keeps it so cool that it] adds to the coziness. Housekeeping runs like a well oiled machine, ensuring the rooms are spotless. The rooms’ modern but cozy vibe is ideal for business and leisure travelers alike. Worst Hotel to Check In I have been to this hotel for at least 5-6 time. Previously it used to be good but over the years it has reduced to a jail of sorts. Here are the reasons : 1. The moment someone goes to the hotel, they will make the guests open their entire bag, take out the belongings just to check any outside food. Even after check in if you venture out then also every time they made us open our bag with all the contents out. These high handedness made us feel very vulnerable / violated. Also I was informed they DO NOT ALLOW LIQUOR ALSO FROM OUTSIDE to be carried for in room consumption but they are having a bar in the hotel. 2. Studio category rooms are extremely small like max 80 Sq feet, toilets are separate with water loogin. We need to call the room service at least 5 times to drain out the water. 3. Deluxe rooms are ill maintained with limited breakfast like only 2 choices like 1 tea / coffee with 1 Paratha sabji / Toast - In all breakfast is very less & quality is also mediocre. Food is extremely costly considering the place. Menu is attached for all to see. 4. Some construction work is going on there thus right from 6 Am upto 5 Pm constant hammering sound disturbed our sleep a lot. We complained many a times but no help received. 5. They give room in hourly basis & young couples go there for a couple of hours which vitiates the atmosphere. In all Durgapur has many better option at less price. This hotel treats its guests like they are under their strict rules. So please all avoid this place - some thing or other will make your experience soiled.
