We booked Mosay for a week in June before the hotel had opened. Like everyone else we had hastily checked the reviews every day so I thought I’d add to it! The hotel itself is extremely well laid out, with multiple different small pools split between rooms across the middle of the property. At the time of writing the review there’s a few bits still to be tidied up, especially on the beach. The rooms are spacious, we stayed in a swim up room. The beds outside are comfortable and even though a lack of parasol wasn’t ideal, the shade did come over our room and sitting area around midday so there was some respite from the sun. The pool bar and beach bars are really nice spots, especially the pool bar which was great for a mid day drink. The standout for us though was the staff. Andreas, Silva and Telis really did make our stay feel special. Not just with great service but good conversation! The cocktails prepared by Telis and the other bar staff are top level, and we loved each one we tried from their menu, and the usual classics. However it wasn’t without some improvements that could be made. The food overall wasn’t up to scratch for a 5 star hotel. The breakfast buffet was sufficient with a decent amount of choice but the quality wasn’t quite what I’d expect. We’ve stayed at other similar boutique style accommodation in Greece before where a small a-la-carte option was offered alongside a buffet and it’s hard to not compare the two, where Mosay loses out significantly. Two days of our stay we just didn’t bother going to breakfast which really isn’t like us at all. The lunch offerings are fine but it’s a similar theme. Portion sizes are great but again, the quality is just ok. I don’t want to call the criticism of the food so much a complaint, as I mentioned, it was fine. But, I think it needs to be improved pretty significantly to match up with everything else that the hotel does really well. The website states the hotel to offer ‘exclusive gourmet cuisine’ and sadly it is far from that. The staffs friendliness and service keep my review at 5 stars as we quite literally haven’t met a friendlier bunch and they truly do make a huge effort to make your stay special. Overall I’d absolutely recommend a stay here, but hopefully the hotel can improve their food offerings and quality within time.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at the hotel. Location for us was perfect just outside of the town with easy access to amenities. The hotel itself self was very beautiful, just missing the final touches due to being newly opened. Service overall was good, especially Alexis (Alex) by the pool he deserves a medal for how hard he works and always had a smile on his face! Only downfall would be there seemed to only be the one person dealing with the pool area which felt understaffed. Breakfast was not to a 5 star standard, as a vegetarian there was not much hot breakfast choice. Also no menu option with fresh hot food which would make it up to a 5 star for us, this is our experience in other hotels. We had a beach front swim up room which was lovely, unfortunately we did not find the standard of cleaning to be satisfactory, balcony was only cleaned once minimally and often the pool maintenance staff were on the front during the morning which made it feel less private and these rooms only got sun until the early afternoon so we found this to be a disturbance. As read in another review we feel the mini bar water and coffee should be complimentary throughout the stay, being charged is not something we have experienced before. Overall good holiday, small changes would make this a 5star. Thank you for a pleasant stay

We paid €375 per night expecting a five-star beachfront escape. What we got instead was sewage smells in the room, a filthy toilet with hair left behind, and an overall lack of cleanliness and care. The beach situation was absurd. Despite being a beachfront property, there were no sunbeds for in-house guests — all taken by outsiders paying a €30 minimum spend. Staff told us to “go back to the pool” as if that were equivalent. Nowhere during booking was it stated that guests would be excluded from the beach. The beach itself felt unsafe and uninviting, dominated by a tacky water sports shack, constant jet ski traffic, and even garbage lying around. Staff attitude matched the poor facilities. The Guest Relations Manager acted reluctantly, and the sunbeds she “booked” for us were already taken. My 80-year-old aunt had to stand in the heat for over 30 minutes due to this mismanagement. The towel policy was ridiculous — guests were told to walk to the spa to collect beach towels “to promote the spa.” Beach service? None. When I asked a server if we had to get up to order drinks, she said she was “busy preparing for a party.” That sums it up: paying guests are secondary to outside events. We were told “the beaches are public” — yet the hotel controls and charges for the sunbeds, prioritizing outsiders over guests. It’s clear the hotel is run to extract money from non-residents rather than care for the people staying there. Coffee capsules and bottled water in the room weren’t free, which is unheard of in this price range. I requested a transfer, and the front desk promised to call back but never did. Even before arrival, service was inconsistent — Elena from reservations quoted one price for the transfer, then increased it the next day. To top it off, there was a deafening 90+ dB party that made it impossible to enjoy the facilities. The corridors looked like a back-of-house storage area, with garbage bags full of dirty linen, large trolleys, and plastic buckets in plain sight. And for all this, the property itself has no warmth or design charm — just cold concrete, feeling unfinished and unloved. This is not a five-star experience, nor even close. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and completely fails to value its paying guests. We left feeling unwelcome, undervalued, and frankly deceived.
