Motel 6 Truth Or Consequences NM

I'm not going to knock them too much, no one stays in a motel for the amenities or how nice it is. It had a bed and that is what is important. My one real issue was the phone didn't work. Couldn't call the front desk or the other room we had. Not a huge issue. Staff was ok.

Did not even stay. The 'not responsible for theft or damage to your car' signs lining the parking spaces should have been the 1st clue. Cigarettes all over the ground and a person hanging out next to the door who needs help from Jesus to find an N/A meeting made us really start to doubt our decision. It was when we got to our urine scented room after climbing the filthy carpeted stairs that sealed the deal and we got the heck out of there. Front desk did refund us but with no apologies at all. Drove another hour plus and stayed in Deming.

Total rat infested dump. The toilet wouldn't flush everything down, the bed had springs poking up at the surface, the bath towels were the size of a large washcloth, no shampoo in the shower and kids running around upstairs being loud a 2 AM. Stay away, $65 was a rip off for this dump.
