Motel 6 Tulia TX

Great room and great price. I'd give five stars if simply coffee and cheap breakfast was provided.

I must say that the staff is great. The room or rooms I was in were very poor cleanliness wise, the non working TV in the first room (the reason I was given another room), the broken drawer handles, the lamp that kept shorting out, the mold on the ceiling in both of the bathrooms let's not forget about the door with no weather stripping. The previous owner let it go to crap!! Thank goodness Motel 6 bought it from Executive Inns and is currently renovating the rooms. I may come back after the renovating is done but for now I will pay the extra money to stay in Amarillo. Had I known the condition I would have canceled for a 84.00 dollar fee (no exceptions after booking) not good business.

I called ahead and requested a room with 2 beds which lady on the phone assured me she had. When we got there she told me her rooms only have 1 bed. I understand if that's all you have but tell me that before I drive out of my way to get there.
