Motto by Hilton Tulum

We were here for 5 days of spring break and loved it. One can easily get taxis to all the Tulum cenotes, the ruins and beaches at Jaguar National Park, and many beach clubs nearby. All the staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is clean, very safe and well run. Just outside the hotel entrance is a wonderful courtyard surrounded by retail stores and restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops, etc. It’s a beautiful and well planned out area with lots and lots of vegetation, as well as various places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Live music is offered on some evenings while people enjoy drinks from the outdoor bar in the courtyard. We very much enjoyed staying at this Hilton!

Pro’s: - beautifully designed - lovely windows frame the jungle - rooftop pool very nice - staff attentive Con’s: - as other reviewers have said, the rooms are REALLY small - these would be considered small in Europe. However, they were quite well-configured to maximize the small space - toilets have absolutely zero privacy - the acoustics actually amplify the sound as if you were peeing beside a microphone Overall, I liked the hotel. The room would be great for one person; for two, it was really tight.

I liked the rooms - mint body wash was amazing, whole room smelled so good! The problem was AC - the room got to hot too fast (at least at 4th floor) Staff at the rooftop restaurant asked for tips - I am from europe and I am not a tipper. Staff at the lobby restaurant was uncomfortable. Check in girl was nice, guys (worker and manager) were somewhat reserved and not interested. Gold Hilton Honors means nothing here. Honestly I dont think this hotel should be part of Hilton hotels because of scamy type staff. Rooftop pool was nice, a little dirty at the times but it was ok. Toilet was out of fuction during the whole stay
