Mount Athos Resort

The hotel is very clean, luxurious, and beautiful. Our room had a sea view from every angle. The location is superb. The food was excellent, and the cleanliness was outstanding. The only small issue, which is not related to the hotel itself but to the area, is that the beach has pebbles instead of sand. Also, the wind blows throughout the day, as that’s typical for the region. But the hotel itself is absolutely impeccable. We came across this hotel by chance, after leaving the island of Thassos, where the resort we stayed in was infested with wasps that would swarm around you. Here, there is no such problem. You can enjoy a dream vacation in an ultra-luxurious, spotless resort, with very attentive and polite staff. I warmly recommend it!

Mount Athos offers excellent service with polite and helpful staff who make you feel right at home. The view from the hotel is absolutely amazing, especially overlooking the village and port. The breakfast is very, very good and our double room with harbor view was superb: spacious, with all amenities, very clean, comfortable bed. We had fresh fruits, a bottle of water and coffee & tea available every day. The swimming pools were okay, but the area was a bit noisy (quite many kids around) for our liking. We would have preferred the sunbeds on the beach, but the umbrellas have a kind of net that doesn't provide much protection from the sun. On the bright side, we visited a few beaches nearby and found that this side of Chalkidiki is certainly less crowded. A tip: ask for a room with a view of the port for an unforgettable stay.

This is definitely one of the best hotels in Chalkidiki! When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly and allowed to use all the facilities while our bungalow was being prepared. The hotel is relatively new — it opened in 2020 — and everything still feels fresh and well-maintained. The cleanliness is impeccable! Our bungalow was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated, especially since we were traveling with two kids and things got a bit messy in the afternoons. There’s both an indoor and outdoor playground, staffed by two lovely ladies who took great care of our children. Our daughter, who is almost seven, had a fantastic time playing there every day. The beach is a bit rocky, but still quite enjoyable. The entire beachfront is reserved for hotel guests, which makes it feel more private and peaceful. Just before the beach, there are two beautiful infinity pools — a kids’ pool on the left and an adults’ pool on the right. The tavern is excellent! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was equally impressive. Overall, this was one of our best stays in Greece — and we visit Greece two to three times a year. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back!
