It is a nice house in a good location only a short drive from Daylesford. The heating and fireplace were nice and the grounds were peaceful and quiet However, there was no hot water in any of the showers in the main house for our entire stay, which is not ideal during the winter months. There are also no doors on the two upstairs bedrooms, so choose carefully if staying with a big group and sensitive to noise. A door on these rooms would be a simple addition and make a big difference. Some of the furniture and decor is not kid friendly (a glass coffee table with sharp edges for example). There was also no access to the laundry which was a bit odd.
