What a perfect experience at Mount Side. Location is amazing, the apartment was spacious, modern and well equipped. Lots of nice little touches and attention to detail. Staff were super helpful (special shout out to their drivers for shuttling us around). If I have the option I would never stay anywhere else in Hakuba!!!
Probably the best ski in ski out experience I have had so far! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at MountainSide!
Wow, what else can I say! Very modern comfortable hotel. We had 4th floor room with view over the ski lift and night run area which was fun. Walk to lift but pls note Happo One isn’t ideal for beginners. We took the hotel shuttle bus to Goryu for my wife’s beginner lessons which kind of defeated being able to walk from hotel to lift. Staff were super helpful, shuttle service was great. Dry room and lockers for gear downstairs, plus can leave your rental gear on the last day (no need to return to rental store - we used Rhythm which is only a 5 min walk and great range of gear). Be sure to pre book restaurants in advance as we couldn’t get into the sushi place next to the hotel but managed to get the shuttle around town for other meals. So lucky to have stayed here and will be back 100%
