Movenpick Surabaya City

Staff were very informative, someone from the contacted me about my reservation and asked what I need to smoothen the check in process and even inform about the Choco hour. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. As Accor member I was upgraded and get the corner room with great view facing the train railway which was a plus point for me to experience all kind of train passing by in front of your window. Amazingly the room is sound proof so no complaint about the noise even from the train passing by. Food at the restaurant were amazing, my wife and I really enjoy the food and the coffee was great too. Location is close to malls like Royal and Tunjungan plaza and only around 30 min to the airport. Overall great stay and enjoy our 2 nights with Movenpick Surabaya.

Rooms was very nice - bright - nice smell, but not really clean in details. Bed is very soft, not hard enough for my standard. Louds like trains and ambulance go through your room evethough i'm on level 18. Not 24 hours gym.

A pleasant stay but lack of upkeep of shower facilities made the overall stay experience average. The shower hose was leaking and made showering an unpleasant process with weak water pressure. The hand wash tap was also faulty with rough water flow. Wifi connection was also unstable and required multiple attempts with manual connection. Room itself was modern and comfortable, and located near to the SUB airport so would be a convenient choice to stay at for the night before departure.
