I recently stayed at Moxy Sydney Airport and absolutely loved the experience! One of the best perks was the free shuttle service is easy to catch and it runs frequently between the hotel and both the international and domestic terminals. It made getting to and from the airport hassle free, The hotel itself has a really fun and funky vibe. The decor is modern and playful with cool industrial touches, vibrant colors, and quirky details that make the whole place feel lively and welcoming. The lobby area is great for hanging out, with games and a relaxed atmosphere that’s a nice break from the usual airport hotel routine. Overall, Moxy Sydney Airport nails it with convenience and style. If you’re passing through Sydney or need a place near the airport, I highly recommend it!
Very new, modern, and beautiful hotel. One of the newest and most beautiful 4 star hotels that I have been to recently. The design is so chic, smart, clean, and satisfying to my eyes. They have the bar and kitchen just right behind the reception, the food is great. The music they play was awesome! It was a great night for my early flight next morning 😍✌️
Overall, our stay at the Moxy hotel was generally pleasant, but I feel it's crucial to bring a significant safety concern regarding your complimentary airport shuttle service to your attention. On our departure day, we utilized the minivan shuttle service to the Domestic terminal. The van was already quite full when a family of five, accompanied by a substantial amount of luggage and ski gear, arrived just as the shuttle was due to depart. Despite the limited space, they managed to convince the driver to allow them on. While we appreciate the driver's willingness to accommodate, this decision led to a highly uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situation. With the van already near capacity, their heavy bags and ski gear had to be placed unsecured in the aisle. Throughout the journey, with every turn and stop, this unsecured luggage was tossed around the van. This created a considerable safety risk for all passengers, as the shifting bags could have easily caused injury, especially in the event of sudden braking or an accident. Furthermore, transporting unsecured luggage in passenger aisles is almost certainly against transportation safety regulations. The entire experience made all passengers in the van feel very uncomfortable and anxious. I am writing this review not just to express my discomfort, but primarily to urge the hotel management to review and revise their shuttle loading policies and procedures. It is imperative that passenger safety and adherence to transport regulations are prioritized. Overloading the vans and allowing unsecured luggage in passenger areas should not occur again.
