MS Tropicana Costa del Sol

Travelled on 24/6/25 for 7 nights a group of 7 ladies a welcome return to this lovely quaint hotel Hotel is a little tired looking in places but there were room renovations being carried out which is a good thing All staff pleasant and welcoming and all areas very clean however there is a breakfast room overlooking the sea and a bar area by reception that could be utilised better as these are not open ( except at breakfast) Beatrice waitress in Tropicana was lovely and set up breakfast everyday so we could all eat together We did have to have our evening meal next door at the sister hotel (MS Amaragua) and this restaurant couldn’t seem to cope with a party of 7 as most nights we were squashed up on a table for 6 They didnt seem to welcome quests from Tropicana very well as there were larger parties in this hotel ms Amaragua that seem to get larger tables (that may be just our experience) The other factor which was annoying was the saving of sunbeds particularly by Tropicana pool people were out from 7-7.30 am putting on towels and some would not use the beds till much later !!! This hotel is right on the beach and convenient to shops and bars and only 20 mins from airport . in all it has more good points than bad so we will hopefully be there again next year.

Drinks are good. Got the mojito! Service a little slow.

Little jem of a place. Clean tidy good staff. The wife and myself enjoyed our stay and have Little criticism. The breakfast needs more attention to keep it warm. Possibly better if the plates where warm instead of cold .all in all would return no problem
