Fig Tree Bush Camp is a cosy place with really nice accommodation. Tent apartments are high up in the trees and offer enough space. Staff is very attentive, food just excellent. All the meals are cooked fresh, the cook is very creative and makes every dish not only tasty but also good looking. Game drives - especially during dark - are great, even though the animals are not too many.
Very special accommodation and an incredible experience. They do a fantastic job here. Well organized. 3 hours easy road trip from Lusaka. Kafue NP is huge area, so, be patient looking for wild animals...
Great bush camp next to a lagoon. Excellent staff and guides. Great food. The tents are elevated on a platform, so you can enjoy a nice view over the lagoon or into the bush. When we stayed there, there wasn't that much wildlife around, which would make it even a little bit better. On the other hand, there were lion tracks in camp...
