Mulu Marriott Resort

Excellent 5* resort. Perfect for families or travellers looking for a rest. As my boys are 6 and 8 years old, we couldn't spend all day hiking, we needed to have some downtime, which was perfect by the pool or chilling in their tea area. Great live music in the evening too. The boys loved the buffet for breakfast and dinner! The Mulu Park speaks for itself, it's a great place to explore and adventure.

A 5star hotel in the jungle. Perfect. I had a fabulously relaxing 3 night stay. Breakfast was plentiful, as was the evening buffet and other dishes. Shuttle pickup from the airport to the hotel and viceversa. Regular shuttles to the Discovery Centre, where I went on the Canopy Walk and visits to caves.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Marriott Mulu, and it was truly an amazing experience. The hotel itself is incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a full day of cave exploring. The room is spacious and serices is attentive. The guided tours arranged by the hotel made our exploration even more special. Lawrence, our guide, was not only knowledgeable but also fun, adding a lively and engaging touch to our adventure. The picnic lunch prepared by the hotel exceeded our expectations — it was simply the best! Being able to enjoy a delicious meal in the midst of nature made us feel pampered yet connected to the stunning surroundings. One of the highlights of our trip was undoubtedly witnessing the Bat exodus — an awe-inspiring spectacle that left us all in wonder. It’s a moment we will always remember. Overall, our stay at Marriott Mulu was perfect. From the comfort of the hotel to the extraordinary natural sights and expertly guided adventures, it was a truly enriching experience.
