Munich Marriott Hotel

The hotel is about a 20 minute Taxi drive from the main train station. The Lufthansa airline runs a shuttle bus from the train station to the airport for about $10 a person. The normal fee and a taxi cab to the airport from the hotel is $150. The rooms are large and plenty of closet space. There’s a club lounge on the seventh floor of the hotel. The breakfast serve there was very good. The hotel staff was outstanding and invited. Excellent service.

this hotel is amazing! we have been here for 2 weeks and the service is fenomenal and the breakfast is Amazing. Its location is a wonderful 5 minute walk from the underground, neighborhood is quiet and very safe.

Solid Stay, but not more Overall, the hotel meets the standard Marriott expectations, but not beyond that. The property is somewhat dated – as noted in many reviews, which I can confirm – though it is not yet in urgent need of renovation. Housekeeping provided basic service, and the front desk staff were average in their interactions. The pool area is small, the steam room was not properly heated, and the shower amenities in the spa were empty and never replenished. The gym is small and very minimally equipped. There are three restaurants in the hotel, which I did not try and therefore cannot evaluate. The hotel does not stand out within the Marriott portfolio and offers rather weak value for money. That said, we received a room upgrade which was well-appointed, with complimentary bottled water and a coffee machine. Contrary to some reviews, water was replenished daily. Everything in the room functioned perfectly, and there were bedside power outlets – despite claims in some reviews to the contrary. Taxis are readily available in front of the hotel at all times, which is very convenient. With multiple elevators across three separate sections of the building, waiting times were always very short.
