Munjoh Ocean Resort

I had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and reminded me of a home-cooked meal. It had that comforting, homemade touch that’s often hard to find when dining out. What stood out just as much as the food was the hospitality. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They made the experience feel personal and welcoming, which added a lot to the overall comfort of the place. For the price, I honestly didn’t expect this level of quality and service. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of great food, kind service, and affordability. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and homely dining experience without spending too much.

We booked Munjoh through a phone call with their booking representative and got a good deal for our 7 night stay. The property was amazing. Very well maintained and decorated. The rooms were spacious and tastefully done. Apart from this the service was exemplary. We enjoyed a candlelight dinner by the beach organised by the resort and took two dive experiences through them and thoroughly enjoyed both. The candlelight dinner is a must have experience at this resort. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The receptionist Alex needs a mention for being very very sweet and accomodating. The current property manager Satyam was also very amiable friendly and resourceful. Suresh was another manager we had good interactions with. The housekeeping, laundry and restaurant staff were all well behaved quick to service requests and least smiling. Overall weight had a most memorable time. And what's more....we would love to come back!

Pros: Our stay at Munjoh was truly memorable, thanks in large part to the exceptional staff. Kumar and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. We had a few issues with our initial room, but they were quick to respond and generously upgraded us without hesitation. The private beach is a highlight — clean, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. The location overall is serene and ideal for a relaxing getaway. Rooms are clean, and the property offers a range of convenient services, including dry cleaning, airport transfers, and a hearty breakfast spread. Cons: While the rooms are cozy and charming, some areas could benefit from better maintenance. We experienced a number of insects entering through gaps in the roof, especially in the ocean-view room, which was a bit of a downside. The bathroom in that room could also use some upgrades. Lighting was quite dim, particularly during monsoon season, which made the space feel darker than ideal. A few more plug points would also improve the overall comfort, and the WiFi signal was inconsistent in certain areas of the property. Final Thoughts: Despite a few areas for improvement, the warmth of the staff and the beauty of the location make Munjoh a wonderful place to stay. With a bit more attention to room maintenance, this could easily be a five-star experience.
