Nice hotel. Hotel's service and room service was okay, but little bit worried to recommend because there are many other options for the same price. But the as a Hotel itself, it is recommendable.
I am currently staying at the Muong Thanh Grand Hotel and wanted to share some feedback for future guests. - The hotel lacks air conditioning in public areas, or it is not turned on. AC is available only in the rooms. - I attempted to order coffee and dessert at 9:35 PM, although room service is advertised to be open until 10 PM. I was informed that last orders are taken at 9:30 PM, as they clean up between 9:30 PM and 10 PM. This seems misleading since the service is not truly available until 10 PM. - There is a bar on the 10th floor, advertised to be open from 4 PM to 10 PM. However, whenever it is open, there are no staff members present at the bar or in the area. These experiences could impact your stay, so plan accordingly.
Pros: Early breakfast was a plus. Strategic location, conveniently close to an ATM. Cons: The room was dirty and had a bad smell. Bedsheet and pillow were stained and not properly cleaned. There was a blood stain on the towel, which was extremely unhygienic. Shower pressure was very low, making it hard to shower properly. Overall, not worth the price. This place does not live up to the standards of a 4-star hotel as claimed.
