Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel

We re mixed couple Vietnamese and Swiss couple. We found it is very nice hotel interior that offers affordable prices. I booked city view but at the end it turned out from that we can also easily access to the beach view from our room. The staff helped us to load the luggage and kindly introduced us the facilities in the room when he brings the suitcase to our room. We are more than happy with what we paid. It really worths it

Check-in time was 2:00 PM, but we didn’t receive our room until 2:45 PM. The front desk staff had an unpleasant attitude. The A/C in the lobby didn’t always work, making it very hot and stuffy. There was also no drinking water provided for guests waiting in the lobby. The number of elevators was limited, and they were also very stuffy inside because the A/C was turned off. There are only six slow elevators, and one was often out of service. Our room was for two people, but some bathroom items were only provided for one person. Items like razors or shower caps for women were only available upon request — something the staff didn’t inform us about. During two housekeeping visits, we were given torn bed sheets. The electric kettle had an electrical short, which was very dangerous. The swimming pool only had two fixed depths and no gradual slope, which made it unsafe. My mother choked on water and it took quite a while before any staff came to help. Assigning only one staff member to supervise such a risky pool is highly irresponsible. The room itself was decent, except for a faulty bidet. The only real advantage of this hotel is its location. Very disappointed. I would recommend another hotel with similar location and more competitive price.

Extremely disappointing experience at a 5-star hotel! I checked in at night after a long day of travel, only to find that the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. There were no towels, trash was still there, and the whole room looked like it had just been used. I called the staff for assistance, and it took them over 30 minutes just to bring up towels—but no one actually came in to clean the room. After waiting for over an hour with no one showing up to clean, I had no choice but to check out. For a hotel that claims to be 5 stars, this level of service is unacceptable. Basic cleanliness and responsiveness should be a given, especially at this price point. Not worth the money, and certainly not up to 5-star standards. I hope management seriously reevaluates their operations and customer service moving forward.
