The hotel is good. The room is spacious, and I had a nice view. The bathroom was also clean and in good condition. However, the lobby was too dark, which made the hotel feel a bit creepy and not very welcoming. It didn’t look like a proper hotel from the entrance. The location isn’t ideal. it’s quite far from the nearest night market. Although it's walkable, the streets are dark and quiet at night. There are also no convenience stores nearby. There were only a few staff members, and most of them couldn’t speak English well.
Stayed at Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel in Phu Quoc for a short trip. Overall, it was alright. The hotel has the look of something high-end, but the experience didn’t really match up. The room itself was actually very nice, clean, spacious, and well-designed. It had a comfortable bed, working air-con, and a decent view. Definitely one of the stronger points of the hotel. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and relax, the rooms do their job well. The lobby, on the other hand, felt oddly hot and a bit gloomy. The lighting was dim and the space lacked any kind of lively or welcoming vibe. Not really somewhere you’d want to hang out or wait around for too long. Service was okay, staff were polite enough, but nothing stood out in terms of hospitality. It felt very average and transactional. One thing worth noting: be careful not to stain the bedsheets or linens, even small marks might get you charged. We were warned that any stain could cost 200,000 VND. It’s a good idea to be extra cautious, especially if you’re using skincare, makeup, eating in the room or if you have a period In short: it’s a decent stay if you’re not expecting much beyond a clean, comfy room. Just be mindful of the small rules and charges that might pop up
We had to stay here with the tour we booked and everything is so old and dirty. We found a dead roach near the elevators and found small insects crawling on the bed. There’s also no AC in the lobby nor in the corridors of the floors. Definitely do not recommend.
