Muong Thanh Luxury Song Han Hotel

First things first, the rooms are very nice and we had a great view as the hotel goes up 23 floors. The shower and bath are nice, the room is spacious and the beds are good too. (if you like firm beds) The outdoor swimming pool on the 3rd floor is great and has the morning sun till around 1PM. Unfortunately the breakfast was not that good, i actually found the food and selection quite mediocre. The breakfast also runs from 6AM to 9:30AM, which i think is too early to end it. They also start taking away food the moment it turns 9:30 even though people are still there and some people are even still coming in. On top of that, they stop refilling any empty stuff well before the end. Furthermore the WiFi was extremely horrible to the point that it was almost unusable with frequent disconnects. Even though we had an access point right in front of our door.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Da Nang city, stayed for 3 nights because we couldn't get reservations in the Muong Thanh beach hotel. Great views, we had a room on the 16th floor. Room was huge, so also the bathroom - well equipped with a tub and separate shower arrangements. Breakfast was good though crowded leaving the waiters unable to replenish the dishes as soon as they were emptied. They have a ridiculous custom of taking a deposit before we check in. This is to pay for any hotel property we might damage during our stay. This too after they have collected full payment for our stay duration. Very idiotic, why should we trust them with our money when they do not reciprocate and come out with flimsy pretexts to deny return of the deposited amount? High time they let go of such outdated practices considering the Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon City Centre Hotel did not collect such deposits!

I stayed here for one night. I had an electric motorbike and I wanted to charge the battery of it but this hotel refused it... I heard some noises from upstairs of my room, I guess there were some small kids in the room above my room. I felt the staff members in the receptions were not so warm. I don't think this hotel is worth 5 stars( worth 4 stars in Da Nang's standards). Actually I previously stayed Muong Thanh Hoi An for 2 nights. That hotel was much better than this hotel; staff members were much more welcoming, the room was more silent and they allowed me to charge the battery of my motorbike)
