Museum George Molfetas Hotel

A splendid experience not just a hotel. It’s decor and atmosphere are unique and show a meticulous research for what is truly beautiful and can make your soul sing. The rooms have incredible character, the courtyard is so charming you will want to spend a lot of time there relaxing despite having the whole of Kefalonia waiting for you outside. The owner Katerina is more charming than the place itself, if possible. She prepares delicious breakfasts and is gold mine of recommendations and local knowledge. We came prepared about the island but she suggested several gems (beaches, drives, and tavernas) that we wouldn’t have been able to find and made our stay fantastic. The picture was completed by Katie who took excellent care of us during breakfast always greeting us with a smile and making sure we had anything we needed and more! The hardest thing to do was to leave as we really did not want to 🙂!

Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. If you want feel greek hospitality, amazing service, delicious breakfast and organic products than you must stay in this hotel. Mrs. Katerina is fantastic and gives prefect tips for the most beautiful places to visit, she is the perfect guide for Kefalonia Island.

It's been three years now since i had the pleasure to be Katerinas' guest and i still have the best memories. My stay was a pure joy and the whole hotel is so unique and beautiful. Katerina had the best tipps for me what places to visit and her chef qualities are fantastic. I truly enjoyed our conversations and will never forget these days. I wish her only the very best and hope to come back one day!
