This hotel is well located in Monumental Street, with a stunning view over the sea and surrounding areas. Each room have a balcony to delight you view over the sea or mountain, have a free parking with limited capacity which is handy in case you rent a car, plenty of places for eat and party around.
Fine for the price. Good location. Bigger breakfast was not worth the money. Recommend going to the cafe directly below. Parking at the hotel is very limited and a bit terrifying in the hill. We utilized the parking garage, also located below the hotel and were surprised at how affordable it was. Front desk was nice and the beds were fine but only 2 twins? Not ideal for couples. The bathroom had a very dirty and moldy shower curtain and the rusty doorstop in front of the toilet could really hurt if you didn’t see it. Great view of the ocean and at one point a neighboring hotel had a fireworks display, which was was fun to watch. Price for pool towels and the list in the room of prices for missing items was a bit comical. We did not use the pool or dinner. Walking distance to a lot of things and bus stop convenient.
Hotel has a great location close to the center and close to many great restaurants and places that are worth visiting in the city. It is a perfect hotel if you are on a budget and if you plan to go for multiple hikes spending just limited amount of the time in the hotel. It also has a pool that is great for cooling down after a long day on a hike. Staff has been very service minded and assisted as with many request. Also cleanliness of the rooms has been perfect every day. Hotel itself looks little outdated and could benefit from refurbishment. Many basic services you would expect were either not available by default or you needed to pay little extra to have them. Also the doors and walls barely take any sounds so if you are a light sleeper you might need earplugs. We tried dinner one time in a restaurant, and it was very blunt, tasted like a canteen food, much better to try restaurants around. Overall as we expected.
