Amazing hotel with exceptional service! The staff at MyElla are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay!
Disappointed with my stay – this hotel is far from 5 stars My stay at MyElla Hotel in Bodrum was very disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the room was dirty – completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be five-star. The level of cleanliness was far below expectations. The food was decent, although there were things that could be improved – but that wasn’t the biggest issue. One of the most frustrating things was the situation at the pool: guests would reserve sunbeds as early as 6 AM by placing their belongings, which felt completely chaotic and unmanaged by the hotel staff. Another big issue was smoking in the dining area. As a non-smoker, I found it extremely uncomfortable to eat my meals while people around me were smoking. There was no designated smoking area, and the staff made no effort to control this – showing a complete lack of consideration for other guests. I also felt that some of the local guests behaved as if they had more rights than foreign tourists, and the staff did nothing about it. On top of that, about half of the hotel staff didn’t understand basic English – which is unacceptable in an international hotel and makes communication very difficult. I have a basis for comparison – a few years ago I stayed at a 5-star hotel in Side and was absolutely delighted. Compared to that experience, MyElla falls far behind and in my opinion does not deserve more than 3 stars. I do not recommend this hotel – especially for guests who value peace, comfort, and international service standards.
Title: Below Expectations – Definitely Not a 5-Star Experience I chose this hotel under the ultra all inclusive package, but the experience was far from what you'd expect from a 5-star resort. Beach: The sea is murky, more like the Black Sea than anything close to the clear waters of the Aegean. The beach is very small, poorly maintained, with a maximum of 15 sunbeds available. Absolutely uninviting. Pool: The pool area is the only somewhat redeeming feature, but it has to carry the full weight of the beach’s shortcomings. Bars & Drinks: Only local alcoholic drinks of very poor quality. Despite having ultra all inclusive, I was asked to pay extra for a simple mojito. The beer tastes like water, cocktails are made randomly with no menu, and glasses are often dirty or poorly rinsed. Ice cream – just a few cheap kinds thrown in a freezer box. Spa & Common Areas: The indoor spa is dirty, slippery, and unhygienic. The public restrooms in the lobby are in an appalling condition. Rooms: At best, a 3-star level. No iron or ironing board, no modern coffee machine. Small bathroom with no ventilation and no proper amenities — just a generic 2-in-1 body wash. No shampoo, no vanity set, nothing you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The third person (a child) had to sleep on a cigarette-burned sofa. The floor was dirty, and the wooden partition wall was stained with coffee and who knows what else. Coffee & Service: Coffee was weak, tasted awful — like sock water. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and polite.
