My Home Sultanahmet Hotel

The place is almost horrible. 1.the smell of the building in the entrance is disgusting (like entering a toilet) 2. The walls in the bedrooms made of paper we woke up because we were listening to the footsteps of the other people in the building 3. The wardrobe was not properly placed on the wall and was very small, 4. The breakfast was prison style plates with fixed options and poor quality products, 5. The staff was working so many hours that they were unwilling to communicate with the clients. 6. The place was poorly cleaned and the breakfast on the top roof was a little bit disgusting and 7. The towels were reaped by the constant use. They need to be replaced. I put 2 stars only because of the location, the heat that was proper for cold days and for the price that was close to the quality of this place. I would never recommend this place to a friend.

1. My experience with this hotel was that I booked it online, and it looked very nice in the pictures. However, after a long 8-10 hour journey with my family and children, when we arrived and saw the condition of the hotel, it was very bad. The owner of the hotel was not friendly at all. He just told us to pick up our luggage and leave. The room condition was pathetic. I spent about 5 hours on the road, dealing with this issue. My advice is that anyone considering booking this hotel should not rely on the pictures online. It’s better to visit physically. The owner is very bad and behaves poorly. I do not recommend anyone to stay there in the future.

I've traveled to many countries and stayed in numerous hotels, but this was by far the worst experience of my life. The reception staff were uncooperative and rude, often making fun of us when we asked questions or requested assistance. We were also charged for a shower glass that broke while I was bathing, without any fault on my part. The hotel's facilities were subpar, with small rooms and fragile fixtures, including windows and shower doors. The policy of charging guests for any damage, regardless of fault, was particularly concerning. I would not recommend this hotel to families with babies due to safety concerns. They should understand that Cheating customers won't contribute to the hotel's growth or reputation."
