My Sapphire South Padre Island

These condos are to best of the best! We have stayed at multiple as we have vacationed and we have never had such a welcoming experience. The front staff was kind and welcoming and they have helped us with every question of card malfunction. All The staff is kind and welcoming to our two little ones and always wave and say hello. The pool is amazing and offers options for the adults, the expert kid swimmers and the timid swimmers. The access to the beach is by far the best we have experienced and love that it is gated and private. The kids (okay mom and dad too) loved watching the boats go in and out of the jetty. Our condo was well situated with a killer view of the ocean and pool. Kitchen, room and bathrooms are spacious and well equipped. You also can’t beat the game room, theater and the gym! All are fantastic perks and my son has been down everyday working on his pool shark skills. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Beautiful condo close to water. great pool

Our stay was ok. Check-in took close to 20 minutes. The condo was good quality and the views were gorgeous, but the bed we slept on was creaky/noisy. The "luxury" showers are so slippery we had to put a towel down on the floor to prevent falling. The staff are insane about the sharp plastic wristbands you have to wear 24/7 from check-in to check-out. We cut ours off because we were scratching ourselves with them and they made us put more on. The 3-bedroom condo we reserved for 6 adults and 2 kids only came with 2 parking passes and 3 keys. The revolving doors at the front were broken the whole time we were there. The washer in the condo smelled like mildew. We didn't use any of the amenities except for the pool. All in all, we probably wouldn't want to stay again, especially not for the price. We've seen this quality in much cheaper places.
