Mykey The Shore T1 20 03

Stayed here for a week during my visit to Melaka. I got a private unit (not under the management of the hotel). The property is a bit worn out, and would deserve some renovation and upgrade works. The complex also has a decent gym and pool. Nothing special but good enough! But all in all, still alright for the price you pay, affordable and good value. I do like the location, just next to Melaka river and walking distance to Jonker street and the old heritage town.

Everything is fine but the service is not really a hotel service. Staff is friendly and helpful but they never pick up your phone, you need to go to lobby even midnight. The room looks ok with good view but low soundproof, noisy until you can not sleep because the other customers. I won’t stay there again because i did not have good sleep in 2 nights

The parking is hard to find, super inconvenient. Very hard to access to reception counter. 5 elevators spoil at the same time. No technician come over! Spend more than 40 minutes at level 3A. Bath tub was leaking, sink was leaking. First enter the room the floor was wet, we almost slip. The heater is not functioning, even after I turn on. Definitely not worth the price.
