Mykonos Kosmoplaz Beach Resort Hotel

I recently stayed at Hotel Kosmoplaz, and it was an amazing experience. The location is perfect, right by the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sea and beautiful sunsets every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a nice view and all the necessary amenities. The pool and bar area were also great for relaxing during the day. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, Hotel Kosmoplaz offers a perfect combination of comfort, great service, and a fantastic location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would love to come back again!

Extremely Disappointing Experience We paid a high amount expecting a proper hotel experience, but what we got was more like a run-down motel — completely below expectations. The room looked nothing like the photos, the furniture was old and damaged, and there were ants crawling on us while we slept. The level of cleanliness was shocking. At check-in, the lady who welcomed us was polite and friendly, but after that, especially the night shift staff, we experienced rudeness, lack of professionalism, and zero willingness to help. After reading other reviews we realized that this is a pattern — several guests reported similar or worse experiences, including being placed in rooms meant for workers. We were three guests, yet the hotel only gave us one key, and when we requested a second key, they refused without any explanation. This caused significant inconvenience during our stay and reflects extremely poor service. Additionally, while the hotel advertises proximity to the beach, it’s important to note that the beach is not part of the hotel and requires an additional payment to access, even though it’s close by. This was not clearly mentioned, and added to the overall disappointment. Yes, the location is nice, but that’s the only good thing about this place. Do not be fooled by the photos or descriptions. This place is not worth the money, not even close. Avoid this hotel and look elsewhere for a decent stay.

Absolutely terrible experience – I strongly advise against staying here. I came to Mykonos for a relaxing tourist trip and ended up completely disappointed. The room was filthy, crawling with ants, and the ceiling was so low it felt like I was sleeping in a storage closet. The endless staircase was a nightmare. On top of all that, the place was insanely overpriced for what it offered. It’s a complete rip-off. They lied about the beach, making it seem like the beach was part of the hotel’s facilities and free to use — that was a flat-out lie. The photos online were pure deception and had nothing to do with the actual place. The staff were also incredibly rude and unhelpful, except for the receptionist working the daytime shift — she was the only polite and friendly person there. Other than that, everything about this hotel was a disaster. This place is a scam, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and stay far away!!
