Myrion Beach Resort & Spa Adults Only

We stayed at Myrion Beach & Spa for 3 nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was an amazing experience. We originally booked a sea-view room but were upgraded to a swim-up room, it was such a lovely surprise! The room and the entire hotel were exceptionally clean and well maintained. On our first day, we received complimentary champagne and cake, which was a thoughtful and personal touch. We especially loved the large pool with its beautiful sea view. While the hotel has a quiet private beach, we spent most of our time relaxing by the pool. The poolside restaurant was great, and the breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. The location is also ideal! just a few minutes from Platanias, a charming town full of great restaurants, bars, and shops. The staff were warm, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. Highly recommended for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Crete!

Wow, just wow – this was truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was simply perfect. I’m usually quite a critical guest and always find something to point out, but in this case – nothing. The entire experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with welcome drinks and valet service that made check-in feel effortless. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional – everything felt so fresh and spotless, as if we were the first guests ever to stay there. The hotel clearly invests in maintaining its facilities to the highest standard. We had informed the hotel that we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and they truly went above and beyond. Not only were we upgraded to a room with direct pool access, but they also surprised us with a thoughtful treat: cake, sparkling wine, and fresh fruit waiting in the room. It made us feel genuinely special and added so much joy to our stay. The room itself was spacious, clean, and perfectly equipped – not flashy, but elegant and thoughtfully arranged. The pool area is fantastic – serene, beautifully designed, and there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone. Just a few steps away is the beach, easily accessible and great for a quick swim in the sea. The poolside bar offers a delicious selection of food and drinks – everything we tasted was fresh and flavorful. It was also lovely to see the chefs using herbs and vegetables grown right on the property. There’s convenient parking on site, with a partially covered area for added comfort. Nearby, there are great local restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance, and it’s just a short drive to the charming town of Platanias. Each evening the hotel hosted a different live performance, all set against a stunning sunset backdrop – simply magical. Most importantly, there’s real value for money here. The quality of service, attention to detail, and overall experience far exceeded our expectations. We truly recommend Myrion and would absolutely love to return. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We booked the hotel because it looked very relaxing in the pictures. The rooms were big, and the food was good. Nevertheless, the whole time you had the feeling that everything was too “sterile perfect” — instead of helping you relax, it felt almost the opposite. The staff were polite, but it didn’t feel like it came from the heart. The lobby was all white and constantly cleaned, but I hardly ever saw anyone actually sitting there. The hotel is really missing some coziness — something that invites you to relax. A comfortable sitting area between the pool and beach, some shade at the pool, natural wood elements, a few decorations, pillows… just some touches to make it feel more warm and welcoming.
