Wonderful hotel, great staff, good choice of food, rooms are a little dated but very clean . Excellent location , close to the beach and shops, bars and restaurants. Never had a problem getting a sun bed , pool area very relaxing . Will definitely return .

We had a problem with the apartment we had booked and ended up wandering round Cambrils on a Saturday night looking for a hotel. Slowly starting to feel like Mary and Joseph! Valeria in Hotel Monica was an absolute life saver calling round other hotels for us and sorting out our taxi. Can't thank her enough. Wish they'd had a room for us but I can absolutely give Valeria's customer service 5 stars xxx

We thought this hotel was perfectly placed in Cambrills, spotless, comfortable, quiet (no banging music) beautiful garden pool area. We were on the 4th floor overlooking rooftops with partial sea view however, the balcony was teeny tiny as everyone else's. Nonetheless, really comfy and housekeeping was excellent (well done housekeeping) Entertainment twice weekly (same artists) in the bar which opened 4pm( just something tp be aware of). We used the restaurant 5days out of 14 and very disappointed on our last morning as they wanted to charge us 2euros extra each! Just because it was our last day!! We found this ungracious to guests who were obviously not zip lock baggers, what a strange management decision? To finish; there would appear to be large groups of golfers, cyclists and touring groups which make quite a cacophony in the restaurant at dinner. Not for kiddies Cambrills Thank you for your reply on breakfast extra charge on last day** on arrival we were told dinner was 24euros and breakfast was 11euros. We generally booked dinner day before, so we booked breakfast day before It was at this point we were informed it would be 2euros extra each as it was our last day! so, we cancelled on principle as we felt penalised. Nothing to do with numbers whatsoever as we always booked in advance. It's a point that other people should know
