Mövenpick Hotel Auckland

This hotel is in a great central location! Modern, clean, yet warm atmosphere. I checked in early and my room was already ready for me which I was very grateful for. Check in and check out was a breeze. Buffet breakfast was good. Appreciated the 11am check out time and the price for all of this was good value. I'd definitely stay again. My only tip is if you're wanting peace and quiet, stay away from the elevator area (you can choose this as a preference). I wasn't in my room much so it didn't bother me but I could hear everything in the hallway quite clearly.

I personally really enjoyed my stay here. Location wise it’s excellent, with the Sky Tower not so far, as well as the viaduct. My room was large and clean and had nice big windows to see some of the Auckland skyline. I only had Breakfast here, which was a help yourself buffet style, not too bad a variety in terms of food options and drinks. Cracking views of the harbour as well. Staff were friendly. I’d definitely stay here again if back in Auckland.

Room was fine, modern, clean and tidy but the wifi was very patchy / slow and not suitable for streaming. When we arrived we were told valet parking was full and if it had ‘t been, it is an extra 65 dollars which is not clear at all on the website. We were directed to a public car park down the road which was ok but was a bit more hassle. It should be possible to book the parking - then at least you know in advance. The chocolate hour was great, family loved it and our 2 kids were delighted to get free ice cream.
