Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt City

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a decent experience overall, but there were a few things that stood out—both good and not-so-good. Excellent location ! Just a short walk to the metro and right across from the Skyline Mall. Super convenient for getting around. The room was very clean aside from some noticeable dust on the walls. It had a nice, small refrigerator which was a great bonus. Breakfast was pleasant with a good variety… but no Nutella! A minor tragedy for some of us, but worth noting. Staff & Service: The biggest downside was the staff’s lack of engagement. We always had to approach them and then wait to even be acknowledged. Perhaps it’s a cultural difference, or possibly a language barrier, but the level of attentiveness felt below basic expectations. No one asked how our stay was or offered help with things like airport transport—again, not required, but small gestures like that go a long way in hospitality. Overall: It’s a well-located hotel with clean rooms and decent amenities, but the service felt impersonal. If you’re looking for convenience and don’t mind minimal interaction with staff, it does the job just fine

It is summer now in Frankfurt and it's hot and humid. I checked in the rooms and found out that the air conditioning is not working well and it's not cool in the room. They gave me a stand fan in the room as an alternative. But it's still not cool in the room even with the fan blowing. I have checked in the same hotel a few 4 mths back and it's the same problems with the hotel air conditioning system. I feel that the hotel does not make an attempt to even repair and service their or conditioning system. Totally disappointed with the hotel.

The rooms and the location were really perfect. However I was super disappointed by the service. First of all, I was not given any information about the hotel, the location or breakfast/restaurant which was rather disappointing. Next I tried taking a shower in the room but the bathtub pull was broken it was 2 am so I knew that calling reception wasn’t an option. In the morning when I explained this matter to the receptionist at check-out he just said ‘Ok I will give this information to our team! I didn’t even get an apology which was really disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
