Specifically thank Mr Baki, Mr Serkan and their boss Mr Bora for free upgraded my room from “Super King Room with Sea View” to “ Premium Room “ last weekend and to “Junior Suite “ this weekend. I quite enjoyed the balcony last weekend and the bathtub tonight. Those gentlemen’s generosity made my 2 weeks business trip perfect. I also greatly appreciated their thoughtfulness and kindness last Tuesday early morning to quickly pack up several bread for me taking away before breakfast starting time while I hurry up checking out. I’ve strongly recommended this hotel to my boss, my colleagues and my friends, not only because the hotel itself but also because of their nice service.
I stayed here for almost a week this time, this hotel is somewhere I would stay again and again. Great views, nice parking area and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is a must and the rooms are nicely furnished. The restaurant on the top floor has a pretty good selection of Turkish kebabs and snacks, definitely worth the price and has nice sunset views as well. Thanks to all the staff members as well, would recommend.
Mixed Experience at Mövenpick Golden Horn I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Golden Horn Hotel and left with mixed feelings. On the bright side, the service staff are truly the stars of the hotel. A special mention goes to Amine in the lobby, her energy and warm personality immediately made us feel welcome. The reception team overall were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. However, the breakfast was a real disappointment. For an entire week, the buffet offered the exact same items daily, with no variety or flavor. The fruit, aside from the pineapple, was bland and tasteless. On the plus side, the cheese selection was decent, but overall, it felt underwhelming for a hotel that presents itself as five-star. The rooms were clean and acceptable, but again, not quite up to the standards or attention to detail you’d expect from a five-star property. In summary: • Service staff: Excellent, especially Amine and reception team • Breakfast: Repetitive, flavorless, needs major improvement • Rooms: Clean but basic, not luxury-level • Overall: Great people, average experience With a few upgrades to the culinary experience and room quality, this hotel has the potential to truly shine.
