I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is great — close to many attractions and very convenient. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A nice touch was the in-room espresso machine, which made it easy to enjoy a good cup of coffee anytime. Room service was efficient and the food was satisfying. I also appreciated the pillow menu, which allowed me to choose the right support for a comfortable sleep. The bathroom glass is fully transparent. For better privacy, a semi-transparent or frosted design would be more appropriate without losing the modern look. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with thoughtful amenities and great service — just a few improvements would make the stay even better.
We enjoyed our five nights in Lausanne. The room was lovely with a beautiful outlook. We’d love it if hotel rooms would all start including USB ports for charging devices, but this is a small quibble. The inclusion of the city travel pass is a great initiative and we appreciated it when exploring the city. Lausanne is well located for exploring Switzerland and this hotel is a great option.
Great Location and Service, but Noisy at Night We stayed for three nights at the Mövenpick Hotel Lausanne and thoroughly enjoyed the location. The hotel overlooks the lake and marina, offering beautiful views. It’s perfectly situated within walking distance to a supermarket and a nearby play yard, which was great for our family. Underground Paid Parking is conveniently located right in front of the hotel at 22 CHF per day. Make sure to ask the reception for a discount coupon—they’ll give you one that reduces the rate by 7 CHF when paying at the machine. The metro station is also close by, offering free rides to downtown Lausanne in just 10 minutes. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, one drawback during the spring season is that the hotel doesn’t operate the air-conditioning. This means you’ll need to open the windows for fresh air, which lets in a lot of noise from the street. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer to sleep in a cold, quiet room, this might be a challenge. Overall, it’s a well-located and pleasant hotel, but be prepared for some street noise at night during the warmer months.
