Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne On Spencer

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights recently. The hotel had a wonderful indoor pool with a heated spa, we were able to check in very early with minimum notice, the buffet breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. All the little extras - like the free daily ice cream and chocolate hour, plush robes and comfy bed just made our day so wonderful. Additionally, the location was fantastic – right opposite the train station and tram lines into the city. Very close to all kinds of food as well. Thank you for everything, we will be back.

I had a wonderful experience at Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne On Spencer! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The rooms were modern, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The location is unbeatable—right across from Southern Cross Station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The amenities were a real highlight. We especially enjoyed the daily Chocolate Hour—a unique and delicious touch! The pool and wellness facilities were also excellent, providing a relaxing escape after a busy day. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the soundproofing. We could hear a bit of noise from the hallway and nearby rooms, but it didn’t significantly affect our comfort or overall experience. All in all, Mövenpick Melbourne exceeded our expectations, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very aesthetically designed and funky. Great bathroom and city location - super convenient - but that comes with noise. My room directly overlooked the tram and it kept me up most of the night. I’d expect more noise insulation from this quality of hotel - particularly at its price point.
