N31 Hotel Beijing

Nice, clean and basic hotel. Supermarket is located in the basement of the building which was great! Short walk to the bus stop and main street. Overall, Very good stay.

It's a nice hotel with affordable fares. It's got an underground supermarket next to it that is well supplied and some restaurants in the zone. Rooms are spacious and comfortable in my experience. Some cons: it's located at 1 km from the subway, so you will have to walk around 10 minutes, unless you take the bus, which in my opinion is a little more complicated to deal with. The people at the front desk does not speak English so you will need a translator app to communicate with them. Overall it is a good option if you plan on visiting Beijing.

This hotel meets our basic needs. Relatively “clean” by local standards. Managed to communicate with the staff in the English language as they have a small translator gadget at the front desk. However, the lift doesn’t operate on the 6th floor so had to walk up/down one floor always. Lift door on level 5 does not open sometimes..... so had to walk up/down two floors :( Washing machine is available on lobby level which is great. Local breakfast is available at RMB15 per person. The following information may be useful - (1) Beijing Zhangze Hotel is the same hotel known as Jinjiang Inn on the map and is also known as Zhangze Beijing Temple of Heaven Hotel although it is over one Kilometre walk to Temple of Heaven Park, (2) The location for Zhangze hotel on google map is incorrect; actual location is where Jinjiang Inn is located on google map as they are the same hotel. Additionally there is a local supermarket near the hotel which is a fantastic plus! To get there, turn left when you exit the hotel lobby; walk 100m and you are there. Note: exterior signage is all in Chinese but go to the basement and you will find the supermarket. Do remember to bring your own shopping/grocery bag as there is a charge of RMB 0.20 for each plastic bag. By the way, the Temple of Heaven Park is a LONG walk away. The name of the hotel on online booking sites gives the impression that the park is nearby BUT don’t be fooled!
