Unfortunately, I find myself confirming the many "low star" reviews on the company that manages the mini village at Laghi Nibi. Crazy price for what is sold via the website and so on. You can feel that there was a strong investment upstream (typical of businesses in the south..., but managing a business of this type and maintaining it of quality is a whole other thing (lots of dated things, dirty pools with heterogeneous plastic bottoms, unkempt wood and bridges, rust in various places, very limited space for cycling, lack of mosquito nets in the glamping, crazy menu prices, dirty pool chairs, and so on). Positive note: very suggestive landscape. The impression is that of a place that wanted to try to be instagrammable "luxury", but once you experience it, bye.

This nature reserve is billed as a place to relax. It has been anything but. First, they made us get out of the car to collect the badges. Three staff members couldn't be bothered to come out of the office to help us. Then they didn't respond to my emails about pre-booking massages. When I did sign up for one, they conveniently turned it into a more expensive trip to the spa. I had to argue about this, to not pay for something I didn't want. I have eaten all meals here as "required" by the resort and have spent the weekend with a wonky tum to say the least. I went for a walk and stepped out onto one of the piers leading to a water overlook and when I heard the crack of the rotten board jumped back before falling in. Upkeep is not something they do here. The internet doesn't exist. If we didn't have our own phones with us to hotspot off of, we would have had any. The final straw though is the loud thumping music for the past 2 hours. There was no notification that there would be a DJ playing music at all hours of the night. I came here to rest and relax and have had the worst vacation ever. And to make things better: fireworks at 1 am! If you have money to throw away, this is a good place to do it.
