This hotel deserves all the praise. Wow! This was my seventh hotel in Japan and was the best by far. The smell of the lobby was soothing; the service impeccable; the modern design and structure flawless; and the rooms are gorgeous. The bed was so comfortable it felt like a cloud; I loved the pillows, too. The harbor view was breathtaking and the lighting in the bathroom was very nice. The shower had great features and so many amenities in the room from toiletries, room and clothes fragrance spray to tea and coffee. The service was spectacular from the minute I arrived. The bell hop, the front desk agents and the restaurant staff were exceptional. And the housekeeping was top notch! And it was so quiet; sometimes I felt like the only guest. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re going to get with a Marriott, so I was pleasantly surprised. I never wanted to leave.

Got a free upgrade to a corner suite thanks to my Marriott Platinum status—huge thanks to the amazing staff for making it happen! The view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the space was calm, clean, and super relaxing. It had that perfect balance of modern and cozy. Since I was in Nagasaki, I made sure to explore the city and hit a bunch of great sightseeing spots. It really turned into one of those trips you look back on with a smile. Great service, beautiful room, and a city full of charm. Can’t wait to come back someday!

To be honest not that bad, but definitely not recommended if you are driving. The prime location is not too beneficial for people who drive a car, but they need to pay 2000 yen for parking, which is way overpriced in my view. And there is no amenity whatsoever, which is quite rare for a Japanese hotel. Room is spacious and service is good though.
