Nagoya Tokyu Hotel is a fantastic value-for-money 4-star hotel in Nagoya. The hotel has a charming, old-school interior, but it’s spotless and well-maintained. The area where it is situated is also nice as it is near a lot of iconic places. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful—despite a language barrier, they always greeted us warmly and went out of their way to assist. The room was cozy—not the largest, but much more spacious than typical Tokyo hotels, which tend to be cramped at just 10 square meters. The bathroom was a bit small, but still functional. A nice touch was the complimentary bottled water every time we requested housekeeping. I even lost my hat at the hotel and was thrilled to get it back! The 90s-inspired interior added a fun, nostalgic vibe to the stay. There are also shops within the hotel, perfect for shopping, though a little pricey. Overall, if I return to Nagoya, I’ll definitely stay here again!
The Nagoya Tokyu Hotel is an elegant hotel located in the Sakae area of Nagoya. The location is excellent and allows to to walk to many restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel itself is a very big with many shops and restaurants inside. It is a throwback to the old days when Japanese hotels mimicked their counterparts in Europe and America with spacious rooms and fancy restaurants. The night I stayed, there were a dozen Italian sports cars parked in front which was sort of fun.
A very big hotel located at the core of the city! There are 6 restaurants, a large heated pool, gym, spa! Great buffet breakfast in 2 restaurants - a Japanese and a regular. Plenty of parking. Close Oahu shopping district and a popular shrine!
